Teaching Assistant I Tameside I SEMH I Summer term

Celsian Education are working with a primary school in Tameside to recruit a teaching assistant who has experience supporting SEMH children. The role will be across KS2 and will be after the Easter break until July.
The role will require the successful candidate to have a good, sound understanding of SEMH and the Autism Spectrum. It is essential that any candidate applying for this role has a recognised level 3 qualification in childcare and have recent experience within an educational setting working with children with SEMH. As well as having an enhanced level DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain a new one. Celsian will also be required to obtain sufficient references to cover the last 2 years, at least 1 of which needs to be from an educational setting. To be successful in the role you will need to have -
- Experience working with SEMH pupils
- Worked with KS2 children
- worked as one-two-one teaching assistant
