EAL Teaching Assistant I ASAP I Oldham
Are you a qualified teaching assistant? Do you have experience of supporting pupils whose first language is not English, in particular Romanian?
Celsian Education are looking to recruit a qualified teaching assistant who has experience of supporting children whose first language is not English, and preferably Romanian. The role will start as soon as possible and will be full time and will continue until July.
As an EAL Teaching Assistant, you will be providing support on a 121 basis with a Romanian pupil, to help raise their attainment levels with, written English, spoken English and reading.
It is essential that you have experience of working as a teaching assistant in a UK primary school and have a relevant and recognised qualification to at least level 2.
Celsian will need to obtain at least 2 references to cover the last 2 years, at least 1 being from an educational setting. You will be required to have an enhanced DBS that is on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one through Celsian Education. Please note, only short listed candidates will be contacted.
