Celsian Education is currently expanding at a rapid rate and working a growing number of welcoming primary schools in Chesterfield and its surrounding area. To meet the demands of our schools we are recruiting for like-minded primary teachers to work cover day to day and short-term absences.
You will deliver preset lessons in the absence of the teacher, providing as much consistency in the daily routine. You will need to follow the schools marking policies and leave hand-over notes giving the teacher a full understanding of the day's events.
If you are experienced in teaching Early Years, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 teachers and can hit the ground running, we can provide you with the ability to build long-term relationships with the schools we work with.
You will have the ability to choose the days you work gives you the ability to have full control of your work/life balance and if you need consistency of work, we have long-term work available too. Essentials:
- Be eligible to work in the UK
- Primary Specialism B.Ed., PGCE, CertEd, Learners First, SCITT, Teach First and hold QTS status
- Excellent understanding of the primary curriculum
- Possess some relevant experience working within the SEND sector
- Be confident, passionate and highly motivated
- Have empathy, patience and the drive to make a difference
