SEMH Learning Support Assistant l Cheadle

Celsian education are working with a SEMH provision in Cheadle area who are looking for a SEMH Learning support assistant to start ASAP on a temp to perm basis

Are you passionate about working with young people with SEMH? Can you help raise attainment?

The role will be working with 11-16 year old's at a SEN school in the Cheadle area. The school is committed to providing education for young people and ensuring the best start for their young people.

The role will require working on a one-two-one basis or small groups with pupils with SEMH, you will work with the young person to help raise their attainment with a particular focus on improving their behaviour.

This position is specifically for a candidate that has experience dealing with pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health challenges that lead to challenging behaviour.

To be successful in the role -

  • Experience working with SEMH pupils
  • Ideally Team Teach trained
  • Beneficial to have worked as one-two-one teaching assistant
