KS 2 Teaching Assistant I Tameside I May half term
Do you have experience as a teaching assistant? Are you looking for work in key stage 2? Are you passionate about raising attainment in literacy & numeracy?
Celsian Education are working with a primary school in Tameside who are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in key stage 2. The role will require the successful candidate to work across the key stage from year 3 to year 6.
It is essential that candidates will have recent experience working in Key stage 2 and ideally have supported pupils on a one-one basis.
Successful applicants must be enthusiastic, efficient and inspiring, and also committed to their own professional development, whilst being an exceptional practitioner in all other aspects of teaching.
To be considered for this particular roles you must:
Hold Cache or NVQ Level 2, 3 or 4 in childcare.
Hold a current enhanced DBS on the update service (or be happy to apply for a new one through Celsian).
Have the ability to quickly build rapport with pupils, and be skilled in behavioural management.
Have experience working on a one to one basis and also with the whole year group or experienced in support Special Educational Needs pupils would be highly beneficial.
