Celsian Education are currently working with secondary schools in Chesterfield who are looking to recruit cover supervisors with effective behaviour control to cover classes and support students.
The role offers a varied and ever changing environment in which members of staff work flexibly to support all students.
The role can be full-time or part-time with the potential of a school offering a permanent position for those who excel in post.
Those who have experience in the following areas would be of particular interest:
· Youth work
· Support work & residential care
· Learning mentor in secondary environment
· Prison officers/ tutors
· Graduates from relevant disciplines (Psychology, sociology)
The primary function of this post is to work within the classes to cover absent teachers supporting students in developing students confidence, self-esteem, increasing school participation and to generally cultivate greater aspirations to achieve, not only in education but in the their lives as a whole.
