Celsian Education are working with a large secondary school in the Manchester area who are looking for a creative English Teacher for a maternity cover starting in September. Are you enthusiastic about the English Language and can you use your knowledge of Literature to engage groups of students?
This English Teacher role will involve planning and delivering engaging English lessons to classes across key stage 3 and key stage 4. You will work with the young people to help raise their attainment in the subject and achieve success in their exams. The school are committed to the inclusion of all young people and pride themselves on their methods to enhance the learning and well-being for all children; making this the ideal opportunity for an NQT or more experienced teacher.To be successful in the role you will have:· PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification · Excellent subject knowledge of English Language/Literature· Strong behaviour management· Experience teaching English across KS3 - KS4
