ASD Teaching Assistant l Oldham l Year 2 I September

Celsian Education are working alongside a Primary school in Oldham who are looking to recruit a level 3 teaching assistant who has experience working on a 121 basis with key stage 1 children who are on the autistic spectrum. This is a necessity as, half of the week you will be working 121 with a child in year 2. The rest of the week you will be working in year 1 as a general TA, mainly working with small groups to help raise the attainment levels in literacy and numeracy.
The role is to start in September, will be full time and is likely to continue until the Easter break.
This position is specifically for a candidate that is level 3 qualified and has experience working with pupils on the autistic spectrum and who may display behaviour difficulties.
To be successful in the role -
- Experience working with Autistic pupils
- Have a recognised level 3 qualification to work with children
- Worked with KS1 children
- worked as one-two-one teaching assistant
