Celsian is seeking a committed and enthusiastic full time HLTA, providing whole class cover during PPA time.

Working in close collaboration with the class teachers, you will be responsible for delivering high quality lessons in a whole class setting. You will be flexible, approachable and have excellent communication skills as you liaise with the teacher and other support colleagues.

You will have the HLTA qualification with some experience of teaching the primary age range. To be our candidate of choice, you will need:

  • A good working knowledge of the curriculum.
  • Incredibly high expectations in terms of work and behaviour.
  • Good personal academic abilities.
  • To be reflective in your practice.
  • Experience of working in schools.

This is a part-time role, 18.5 hours per week, with the chance to supplement FTE with general teaching assistant duties.In return our school will offer:
