Maths Intervention Teacher l Manchester
Celsian Education are working with a small Jewish faith school in the Manchester area, who are looking to recruit a Maths Intervention Teacher to work Monday to Thursday on a permanent basis starting in September.
Are you passionate about numbers and can you use your knowledge and enthusiasm to engage students and raise attainment within Mathematics?
This Ofsted graded 'good' secondary school has high expectations of all of its pupils, however they are committed in nurturing every student with the skills and enthusiasm for learning that they need to succeed.
The successful teacher will be expected to plan and deliver Maths Intervention programmes to small groups of students in an engaging way with a flexible approach. You will be required to have recent experience teaching in a UK classroom. The school will consider both newly qualified and fully qualified Teachers; they will also consider primary trained candidates.
To be successful in this Maths Intervention Teacher role you will need to;
- Be experienced teaching Maths and delivering intervention programmes
- Hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
- Have good understanding of a range of SEND
- Be committed to raising attainment
- Have excellent communication skills
