English Teacher l Stockport l Maternity Contract

Celsian education are partnering with an Outstanding Academy in Stockport who are looking for an English teacher to cover a maternity contract from September.

As an inspirational English Teacher can you enthuse your passion for plays, poetry, classic literature and the English language to an active cohort of secondary school students?

The academy has high expectations on all of its pupils, they are committed in nurturing every student with the skills and enthusiasm for learning that they need to succeed

The successful candidate will be expected to teach across Key Stage 3& 4 with recent experience teaching in a UK classroom. The academy will consider both newly qualified and fully qualified Teachers.

To be successful in the role -

  • Hold QTS or equivalent
  • Experience of working across Key stage 3 & 4
  • Passion for the subject
