Business Support Executive - in the Education Recruitment Sector
Celsian Education are looking for a Business Support Executive to join their friendly and hard-working team in Central Derby. The role will start as soon as possible (although we may be able to wait for the right candidate) and is full-time permanent. A standard day is 8:30 to 17:00, working Monday to Friday.
Our office is based on Mansfield Road, Derby and is easily accessible by public transport, being a short 10 minute walk from Derby Bus Station, making this role suitable for non-drivers.
Here at Celsian Education we recruit workers on a permanent or temporary basis, specifically to work within Primary, Secondary, or Special Schools throughout Derby City and Derbyshire. This role will suit an individual who is looking to join a large company that has a local feel, and someone who can help them to deliver outstanding results through providing excellent candidate care, whilst utilising great organisational skills. You will need to be an organised individual with a sound IT knowledge, a professional telephone manner, and have the confidence to meet new candidates face-to-face whilst conducting Registration Meetings. You will regularly interact with client schools via email and the telephone, and support new applicants as they undergo the registration process.
Additional responsibilities include: resourcing; assisting in sourcing potential candidates for schools using job boards and existing computer records; maintaining candidate records/packs ensuring compliance is met in-line with both legislative and internal policies; general administrative tasks; taking calls/messages from schools and candidates; filing, photocopying; assisting with the interview process; sending off references and undertaking compliance checks etc.
You will also support the Branch Manager and Consultants with day-to-day and administrative tasks. Relevant administrative or IT qualifications are desired, but not essential.
