Residential Support Worker l Bury
Celsian Education are working with a group of residential care homes in the Bury area in order to recruit positive support workers to assist young people with Social Emotional & Mental Health needs (SEMH).

This independent company has several schools and homes which offer education and care to young people aged 5 to 14 years old. As a residential Support Worker you will be expected to assist Looked After Children (LAC) with various daily activities; they have a range of needs including Social Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH), ADHD, Attachment disorders. You will need to have excellent behaviour management with a calm but firm approach, alongside a flexible and positive attitude. This role will involve working various shifts with the supportive staff team to ensure all children's needs are met in a positive and safe home environment.
To be successful in this Residential Support Worker role you will need:
- Level 3 qualification in childcare.
- Experience working with young people.
- Good understanding of SEMH and LAC.
- Strong behaviour management.
- Excellent communication skills.
