Welsh Tutor l Stockport / Tameside
Celsian Education are working with an independent special school who are looking for a Welsh Tutor to work with SEND students; this is to start as soon as possible on a part time basis (1 day a week) across 2 different sites based in Stockport and Tameside.

This small and dynamic special school caters for young people across key stage 2 and key stage 3 that have a range of SEND such as Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH) and children who are looked after. This unique tutor role will require you to work on a one-to-one basis with 2 students teaching the welsh language and encouraging welsh speaking. You will also promote positive behaviour and ensure that all pupils have access to learning.
This part-time role would suit a flexible and confident tutor that is able to speak welsh; experience working with pupils who have SEND is beneficial.
To be successful in this Welsh Tutor role you will need:
- To speak Welsh
- Experience tutoring young people with SEND, specifically SEMH
- Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills
- Excellent behaviour management
- A positive attitude and flexible approach
