Celsian Education are working with a large Primary school in Oldham who are looking for an teaching assistant who has experience working on a 121 basis with children in key stage 1 that are on the autistic spectrum.

The role is to start as soon as possible and will involve supporting a child in year 1 who is assessed as being quite high on the autistic spectrum. The role is part time and is likely to be for the rest of the academic year.

This position is specifically for a candidate that has experience dealing with pupils with autism and who can display challenging behaviour.

To be short listed for the role you will need to have -

 Experience working with pupils on the autistic spectrum

 Worked with KS1 children with autism

 worked as one-two-one teaching assistant
