Are you an engaging Sports Coach that wants to support Social and emotional mental health?

Celsian Education is recruiting sports graduates and sports coaches to work on a 1:1 basis and small groups with pupils developing SEMH at an alternative provision in Barnsley.

You will work in alternative provision where you support pupils in a classroom and through sports sessions. You will build relationships with pupils and understand their individual needs, triggers and assist in developing their confidence and SEMH.

This school has a very supportive and vibrant environment and the school cater for pupils in Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4.

Essentials:

- Sports Coach / Degree in Sport Qualification

- Experience working with students, either coaching or working in schools.

- Be confident in managing behaviour

- Have a pro-active approach to work

- Be able to build a good rapport with students

- Ability to engage pupils in tasks
