Celsian Education is working with a large primary school in Sheffield to recruit a compassionate SENCo to join their school.

You will strategically lead the direction and development of inclusion and SEND provision, raise standards of student attainment and achievement, and strategically plan for improvement by managing and deploying financial and physical resources. You will work with teaching staff and parents to work as a team in supporting students in integrating into the classroom and have consistent strategies at home and in school, giving pupils support for their individual needs.

- Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification

- Positive behaviour management

- Experience of supporting Mild to Moderate ASD

- The ability to work positively and effectively under pressure

- Proven ability to develop speech and language skills

- You must be approachable, inspiring and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills

- Confidence to provide personal care beneficial but not essential
