This post will suit professional individuals who are prepared to work flexibly in a vibrant, caring and supportive environment.This role will entail the following:Overseeing, with support and direction from SLT, the Primary provision. This will entail working alongside the Curriculum, behaviour and assessment leads to implement these areas effectively within the Primary setting. Ensuing that they meet the requirements of the Primary curriculum.Working alongside the SLT to ensure staffing and budget allocations are effective in meeting the needs of the pupils placed.Ensure that all pupils make excellent progress across the curriculum and are ready for the next stage of their education.The following knowledge and skills would be of benefit to the role:An excellent knowledge of the primary curriculum, including the delivery of Phonics;Demonstrates outstanding classroom practice;An understanding of SEN and how these may present in the classroom;An excellent communicator;Experience of working with pupils with SEN, and in particular those who present with challenging behaviours;Experience of working within a Primary setting;We are committed to providing the highest level of education and care in a safe, positive environment that enables each individual to achieve his or her maximum potential.The focus of the whole school approach is in three core areas: education, independence and inclusion.
