Celsian Education are working with a Secondary School in the Manchester area, who are looking to recruit an enthusiastic RE Teacher to work on a temporary basis for the rest of the school year.
Are you passionate about RE? Can you engage students and help raise attainment within the subject?
This Ofsted graded 'good' secondary school has high expectations of all of its pupils, however they are committed in nurturing every student with the skills and enthusiasm for learning that they need to succeed.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach RE across Key Stage 3 and 4 in an engaging way. You will be required to have recent experience teaching in a UK classroom. The school will consider both newly qualified and fully qualified Teachers; they will also consider primary trained candidates.
To be successful in this RE Teacher role you will need to;
- Be experienced teaching RE up to GCSE level
- Hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
- Be committed to raising attainment
- Have excellent communication skills
- Respect and support the values and ethos of the Jewish faith
