Special Needs Learning Support Assistant - LSA - Learning Support - Leeds

Are you passionate about helping students with additional needs such as autism?

Have you got recent experience working in with children or young adults?

If so, we may have the right role for you!

At Celsian Education we are working in partnership with a Specialist setting in central Leeds who currently have need for a learning support assistant to work full time on a long-term basis.

The role is due to begin in January and will be on-going until the end of the academic year with the potential to then go onto a permanent contract with the school.

You must have some experience working with students on the autistic spectrum, whether in a classroom or residential setting. Team Teach training would also be preferred but can be provided prior to starting the role.

You must be willing to go the extra mile to ensure that all students receive equal opportunities during the school day, despite any additional requirements they may have. You must be able to think on your feet and be adaptable as every day will be very different.

Childcare qualifications would be preferred but experience is essential.
