ASD Teaching Assistant l KS2 I January I Oldham

Are you passionate about working with young people with autism? Do you have recent experience working on a 121 basis with a child on the autistic spectrum? Can you help raise their attainment in literacy and numeracy?

Celsian Education are working with a Primary school in Oldham who are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to start after Christmas, who has experience working 121 with children in lower key stage 2 that are on the autistic spectrum.

The role is to start in January and will involve working on a 121 basis with an autistic child in KS2. The school are looking for someone for 5 days per week and its likely to continue until the end of the academic year.

This position is specifically for a candidate that has experience dealing with pupils with autism and who can display behavioural difficulties.

To be successful in the role you will need to have -

  • Recent experience supporting children on the Autistic Spectrum
  • Worked with KS2 children
  • Recently worked as one-two-one teaching assistant
