Celsian Education are working with a Primary school in Oldham who are looking for a team teach trained teaching assistant to support a child in key stage 2 that is on the autistic spectrum.
The role is to start in January and will involve working on a 121 basis with a child in KS2. The school are looking for someone for 5 days per week and it is likely to continue until February half term.
This position is specifically for a candidate that has experience dealing with pupils with autism and who displays behavioural difficulties. It is essential that all candidates hold an in date team teach qualification
To be considered in the role you must:
- Have experience working with SEN students
- Have training or experience in Team Teach
- Be flexible and patient, as the Special Needs will vary
- Be able to communicate effectively within a team
- Be committed to work full-time
