Are you an engaging English Teacher that is looking for full-time work in January?

Celsian Education is working with a Good secondary school in Sheffield to recruit a full-time English Teacher to cover a maternity leave.

You will plan and deliver inspiring lessons to some KS3 and KS4 pupils, with a focus on raising attainment. You will need to quickly adapt your teaching style to include the school's behaviour management policies, providing consistency for pupils where ever possible.

This school provides an inclusive education for all pupils and staff thrive in supporting pupils who struggle to engage in education. They are eager to receive applications from newly qualified or experienced teachers who share their ethos, and will warmly welcome you into their teaching team.

Essentials:

- Be eligible to work in the UK

- English Specialism B.Ed., PGCE, CertEd, Learners First, SCITT, Teach First and hold QTS status

- Excellent understanding of the secondary curriculum

- Possess some experience working with SEND in a mainstream setting

- Be confident, passionate and highly motivated

- Have empathy, patience and the drive to make a difference
