Celsian Education is working with a nurturing primary school in Sheffield to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work Wednesday to Friday, starting in January.
You will provide class support for a teacher in Year 1, where there will be a big focus on phonics. You will ensure all pupils can engage in the lesson and provide extra support for those who are struggling to focus and engage in the lesson. - Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or higher
- Be confident, passionate and highly motivated
- Excellent understanding of phonics
- Strong behaviour management
- A passion for education
- The ability to demonstrate a consistent level of teaching support to facilitate the classroom teachers delivery of lessons
- A Team Teach certification would be desirable but not essential
