Celsian Education are currently seeking an experienced Teaching assistant to work in a primary school in Tameside to provide SATs boosters support to small groups to help raise attainment in literacy and numeracy, you will mainly be supporting children who are currently working below age related expectations to help enhance their skills. You will be expected to deliver tailored sessions for various small groups of children. The school are looking for an experienced teaching assistant who has a good knowledge of current assessments and who would be able to support children with their literacy & numeracy knowledge.
The ideal teaching assistant will:
- Be an experienced Teaching Assistant
- Have recently worked with primary aged children
- Be able to motivate and inspire children who are not engaged
- Have good understanding of current assessments
- Have a proven track record of raising attainment
- Be experienced supporting children for SATs
