We are seeking to appoint an experienced behaviour mentor to join a North Birmingham based mainstream secondary school with immediate effect.This good Ofsted rated 11-18 secondary school provides high quality teaching and learning in a supportive and positive environment. This is a great opportunity to work within a continually improving school where students achieve well and to become part of a supportive team of determined leaders and governors to continue to raise standards in the teaching and achievements. As a Learning support assistant, you will be supporting children within a classroom setting either on a one to one or small group basis. We are looking for an individual with a background of working with SEN children and challenging behaviour. Previous experience of working with a alternative provision setting would be advantageous.Applicants must have the following qualifications, experience and attributes; A passion for working with children and advocate of inclusive education Experience of working with additional learning needs with a specialism or experience with challenging behaviour, either one to one or in small groups A high standard of communication skills with children and adults Knowledge and Commitment to safeguarding Celsian Education additionally offer FREE CPD training for all our candidates to support you in your role at school.
