At Celsian Education we work with various SEN settings and Specialist Provisions across Leeds that require additional support and sickness cover on a day to day basis. This may be pre-booked in in advance or an on the morning call to cover a last-minute sickness. It could also be for one day or longer, dependent on your availability.
You would be working as a supply teaching assistant on a flexible basis, this is a good opportunity for anyone who has prior commitments such as studies, childcare or other part time jobs as can work around the days you are unable to work and offer you work only the days you advise you will be free.
· You must have experience working with students who have SEN such as autism, behavioural issues or SEMH.
· You must be able to be flexible and adaptable.
· We are looking for candidates who are hard-working, proactive and will really get stuck in and make a difference even if only for the day.
· If you make a great impression you will be requested back to the same schools which helps to build effective relationships with both students and other staffing at the setting.
· The pay varies between £60-£70 per day and will be weekly.
· We work with schools across Leeds so would keep you as local as possible.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a variety of different settings and to see how different schools and provisions work. A relevant qualification would be beneficial but we do provide CPD to help you feel more confident and enhance your skill-set.
