Numeracy intervention teaching Assistant I March I Part-time I Tameside

Are you an experienced teaching assistant with recent experience of delivering numeracy intervention sessions to year 6 children prior to SATs? Are you passionate about raising attainment levels in numeracy?

Celsian Education are working with a primary school located in Tameside to recruit for a part time numeracy intervention teaching assistant. The role will be in year 6 on a part time basis - (0.4) 2 days per week and will start in March and will be until the SATs exams in May.

To be considered for this role it is essential that -

  • You can demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of numeracy
  • You have a thorough understanding of the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum in numeracy.
  • You have recent relevant experience delivering numeracy intervention group sessions in a UK school.
