Part time or full time work availableCelsian Education are working with a Special Needs Secondary school based in the Cheshire East area who are looking for Learning Mentors specialising in Social Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) to work with a number of pupils who need additional support and nurture.Are you passionate about supporting the learning of all students?
Can you help to create a positive environment for vulnerable young people?The rewarding role of a Learning Mentor will require you to work with secondary aged students who have social, emotional and mental health needs. You will promote positive behaviour and ensure the young person has access to learning whilst also being involved in raising attainment for the pupil. This position is specifically for a candidate that has experience dealing with pupils either in a mainstream or SEND setting who have additional needs that lead to challenging behaviour.The school offers a varied and bespoke curriculum of academic, vocational and personal education to ensure all students have the opportunity to achieve their full potential and where possible re-integrate them back into mainstream education.
