Needed for September - Primary Teaching Assistants - Leeds and Wakefield
Celsian Education are currently recruiting for pro-active, understanding, empathetic and patient Teaching Assistants to
work on day to day supply across Leeds and Wakefield with children that have behavioural and emotional difficulties.
These teaching assistants are needed for work commencing in September. The ideal candidates will be passionate
about working with children and determined to ensure each child's learning experience is as comfortable and positive as
This work will be in our inclusive partner mainstream schools working with children either on a 1:1 basis, small groups
or supporting the whole class. Our schools are warm and welcoming and provide valuable experience
You to have recent classroom experience in the UK.
Previous experience with SEN or SEMH difficulties
Have strong behaviour management skills
Have excellent communication skills as well as strong literacy and numeracy skills
Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
Recent classroom-based references
Valid DBS on the Update Service or willing to apply for one.
Team Teach Training is highly desirable
