Tutors - Crewe
Celsian Education are looking for Tutors to work with KS3 and KS4 students based in Crewe and surrounding areas. We are looking for tutors to deliver bespoke programmes which provides an alternative programme to students who are not accessing or engaging in education.
The successful candidate will be required to teach for 5 hours per day, 5 days per week.
This unique role is to start as soon as possible and if successful will lead to a permanent contract.
You will be required to collect the learner from their assigned address and drop-off at the end of the session with the assistance of a TA.
This Tutor role would suit an experienced practitioner looking for a new challenge. You will work closely with a Teaching Assistant and be responsible for creating a positive and safe learning environment for all young people.
A full UK drivers license and access to a car will be essential for this role.
To be successful in this peripatetic Tutor role you will must have;
- A qualification within education, eg. PGCE.
- QTS or QTLS
- Experience delivering one to one tuition.
- A positive attitude and flexible approach.
- Strong behaviour management.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience working with young people with SEMH
- A calm and positive attitude
- A Flexible approach
