Celsian Education are working with a primary school in Oldham who are looking for an experienced teaching assistant who has recently worked on a 121 basis with ASD children in key stage 2.
The role is to start in September and will be part time. It will involve working for 3 full days and 1 morning in a Year 5 class. The school are looking for someone who can commit to the 3.5 days (0.7) per week and will also offer any additional days once the right person is in post, this is likely to continue until the end of the academic year.
This position is specifically for a candidate that has recent experience dealing with pupils with autism and who can frequently display behavioural difficulties.
To be considered for the role you will need to have-
- Experience working with ASD children
- Recently worked with KS2 children
- Recently worked as 121 teaching assistant
- Hold a valid and recognised teaching assistant qualification
