The Role - 1-1 Teaching Assistant
Celsian Education are currently seeking a teaching assistant who has experience working with students who have additional learning needs.
Your responsibilities will include working 1-1 with selective children who need extra support throughout the school day, this role is in a specialist setting so you would be working with students who have Special Educational Needs such as Autism, ADHD and CMLD. Some students may have medical needs, training to work alongside them will be provided.
As the successful 1-1 Teaching Assistant you will be working on a full-time contract for the academic year starting this September.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and young people who have additional needs and need a nurturing and reliable presence to ensure they feel calm and safe in their school environment. You must be able to establish trusting relationships with students, encouraging them to reach their potential.
