Teaching Assistant I Romanian Speaking I Oldham I September 2020

Are you a qualified teaching assistant who can speak Romanian? Do you hold a valid childcare qualification? Have you recently worked in a UK Primary School?

Celsian Education are working in partnership with a primary school in Oldham who are looking to recruit a Level 3 teaching assistant that is required from September, to work in school to work in a one to one basis with a Romanian speaking child who will be in year 3.

The child in question is a very capable and academic child, who is eager to learn, but needs extra guidance mainly with their literacy and reading.

It is vitally important that candidates are both, Romanian Speaking and have a Level 3 teaching assistant qualification. It is essential that you have recent experience of assisting in a UK primary School for at least 6 weeks.

To be able to be put forward to the school for consideration for this role, Celsian Education will need to approach the last educational based establishment that you worked in to obtain a reference, and we will need at least 2 professional references to cover the last 2 years. The successful applicant must be enthusiastic, efficient, inspiring, and also committed.

All applicants will be required to hold an enhanced level DBS that is on the update service or be willing to obtain a new one.

For this specific role, we are seeking to appoint candidates who:

Are able to communicate with Romanian speaking children

Can show initiative and enthusiasm to support behavioural and learning needs

Can provide excellent support for the pupil

Have good literacy and numeracy skills

Is flexible and able to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team

Have NVQ; Cache Level 3 or equivalent Teaching Assistant Qualification
