Are you an experienced teaching assistant looking for work in a primary school in Manchester from September? Are you passionate and experienced about supporting young people with autism? Can you help raise attainment levels in literacy and numeracy?

Celsian Education are working with a large Primary school in Manchester who are looking for a teaching assistant who has recent experience supporting children with Autism in key stage 1.

The role is to start in September and will be full time. The school are looking for someone who can commit to the role for the needs of the child in question and it is likely to continue until the end of the academic year.

This position is specifically for a candidate that has substantial experience supporting pupils with severe autism and who can, at times display behavioural difficulties at times.

To be successful in the role you will need to have-

  • Experience working with ASD children
  • Recently worked with KS2 children
  • Recently worked as 121 teaching assistant
