An alternative provision (PRU) School based in Wakefield are looking for a Teacher to join their ever growing team of professionals.
You will be required to travel across different settings to deliver engaging lessons to students that have otherwise struggled with mainstream education.
This is a unique setting that caters for pupils who for a variety of reasons do not respond well to the standardised education system and have become disengaged from learning. All pupils referred to this provision have a diagnosis of SEMH and some have further additional learning needs. Therefore, we are looking for an approachable, flexible Teacher who can offer a personalised approach, build trusting relationships and create a safe and calm learning environment. You will be joining a fantastic team of professionals who go the extra mile to support and inspire students who feel they have been let down by the education system, they have worked extremely hard to create a safe place for students from a variety of different backgrounds. Consequently, they are looking for someone who can share in their passion are drive to succeed and add something new to the team.

You must have QTS to be considered for this role. All candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and relevant safeguarding training.
