A welcoming SEN School in Leeds, catering for children with profound and multiple learning difficulties require an experienced teacher ideally with familiarity and understanding of SEND acquired from previous positions.

This role is time on a long-term contract supporting students with very complex needs; hence a background with both physical and learning disabilities is essential to meet the demands of this role.

Ideal experience includes:

- Providing one to one support to children, delivering engaging lessons

- Excellent knowledge of the Early Years curriculum

- Providing curriculum support, assisting with playground and playtime activities, and helping with independent work.

This role requires a versatile SEND teacher who is creative, nurturing and caring in their approach and has experience of working with a variety of ages (4-19).

The school is very friendly and welcoming and a fantastic resources for students with complex and varying needs. They are looking for someone who is hardworking and considerate and willing to go the extra mile for the students. This is a highly rewarding post, helping students with complex learning and medical needs to create memorable experiences.

The role is offered on a long-term contract however there is the potential for this continue and become a permanent role.

You will be:

A qualified teacher with QTS

Comfortable working with children of a variety of different ages with a range of needs.

Confident and enthusiastic.

Flexible with a friendly personality.
