Music Teacher - Tameside

Celsian Education are currently looking for an experienced qualified Music teacher with a real passion for the subject to join a Secondary school in Tameside for September.

You will be teaching Music across Key Stages 3 and 4; providing high quality lesson content within a well-resourced Department that is equipped with excellent modern facilities alongside a hard-working team which will ensure that you are supported at all times in an enriched and exciting environment.

Applicants must have:

  • A UK recognised teaching qualification with QTS / QTLS (i.e. BSc QTS, BA QTS, CERT ED, PGCE, B.Ed, etc )
  • Experience of teaching Music to KS3 and KS4
  • A strong and creative approach to lesson delivery
  • Evidence of positive classroom management
  • A commitment to developing the personalities, talents and abilities of all students
  • Eligibility to work within the UK
  • Excellent subject knowledge
  • Hold a valid enhanced DBS check
  • Able to provide a minimum of 2 x references to cover the last 2 years of employment history
