Global Delay Teaching Assistant I Full-Time I Rochdale I September

Celsian Education are working alongside a primary school in Rochdale to recruit for an experienced teaching assistant with SEND experience, in particular, Global Delay. This role will start in September and will be full time and will involve supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis with Global Delay who is in Year 4.
You will assist and encourage the educational and social development of this pupil under the direction of the class teacher and SENDCo. You will provide support to the pupil both inside and outside of the classroom to enable them to fully participate in as many activities as possible throughout the day. You will support the pupil with their learning and social well-being within the school.
The school have said that it is essential that any candidates considered for this role must have recent experience of working with children and young people with special education needs; ideally Global Delay.
Celsian Education will need to obtain at least 2 references to cover the last 2 years, at least 1 being from a school or alternative educational setting. You will also be required to have an enhanced DBS that is on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one through Celsian Education.
