Celsian Education are working with a primary school in Oldham who are looking for an experienced teaching assistant who has recently worked on a 121 basis with Autism children in key stage 2.
The role is to start in September and will be full time. It will involve working on a 121 basis with a key stage pupil. This role will require you to also complete some midday cover too. The role will initially be until October half term to ensure the right person is in post and then, this is likely to continue until the end of the academic year.
This position is specifically for a candidate that has recent experience dealing with pupils with autism and who can frequently display behavioural difficulties.
To be considered for the role you will need to have-
- Recent experience working with ASD children
- Recently worked with KS2 children
- Recently worked as 121 teaching assistant
- Hold a valid and recognised teaching assistant qualification to at least level 3
