Celsian Education are currently seeking a highly motivated and ambitious English Teacher to join a secondary school in Leeds from September. The role commences in June on a full time basis. You will inherit a full timetable of mixed ability sets of key stages 3, 4 and 5. You will take full responsibility for all planning, preparation and marking and may also be required to assist with various extra curricula activities. Classrooms are well equipped and well resourced. It is essential that you are an excellent classroom practitioner - you must be able to teach across the full ability range. You must posses an enthusiasm for teaching English which can be shared with your pupils. You will be confident, creative & have the ability to drive all students to reach their full potential. You will hold QTS (or UK NARIC equivalent), have experience of teaching English within secondary schools and have a full understanding of the national curriculum.
