Behaviour Support Worker SEN School Full Time - Leeds

Are you an experienced Behaviour Support Worker who is confident in managing challenging behaviours?

Do you have a previous background of working with students with SEND?

At Celsian Education we are currently recruiting for a strong behaviour support worker to work in a specialist setting in Leeds, you must have previous experience of working with challenging behaviours.

You will be working with students who have additional learning needs and can display frustration due communication barriers; therefore we are looking for someone with a positive approach and the ability to establish meaningful relationships.

Team Teach training is essential for this role but can be provided.

Role specifics:

- Working as a BSW in a special school in Leeds, working mostly on a 1:1 basis with students who can display challenging behaviours, helping to de-escalate situations and engage students in learning.

- The students will be aged 12-16

- This is a full-time role starting in September 2020

- Pay is between £70 and £80 per day.

- You must currently hold or be willing to process an enhanced DBS check that is on the update service.
