121 SEMH Teaching Assistant I KS2 I Oldham I January
Are you a qualified teaching assistant with recent experience supporting children with SEMH? Are you dedicate about raising the attainment levels of small groups of children in literacy & numeracy? Are you experienced supporting key stage 2 children?
Celsian Education are working with a two-form entry primary school in Oldham to recruit an experienced teaching assistant to work in a lower key stage 2 class, to support a pupil on a 121 basis with SEMH. This role is to start in January and is likely to continue until July if the right candidate can be sourced. The successful candidate will need to be available for work 5 days per week.
To be considered for this role you will need to:-
- Hold a valid & recognised childcare qualification to at least Level 2
- Have recent KS2 experience in a UK school
- Have recent experience working with SEMH children
- Have recent experience working with primary aged pupils
- Be genuinely committed to enhancing the educational and personal development of your key children and the rest of the class.
All short listed candidates will need to have satisfactory background checks completed, this includes having an enhanced DBS check that is on the update service ( or be willing to obtain one) as well as obtaining sufficient references covering the last 2 years, 1 of which needs to be from an educational establishment.
