KS1 ASD Teaching Assistant I Rochdale I ASAP

Are you an experienced teaching assistant looking for work in Rochdale? Do you have recent experience working with young people with autism? Can you help raise attainment levels in literacy and numeracy?

Celsian Education are working with a Primary school on the outskirts of Rochdale who are looking for a teaching assistant who has recent experience supporting 121 with ASD children in key stage 1.

The role is to start as soon as possible and will be full time. It will involve working with a Year 2 pupil. The school are looking for someone who can commit to 5 days per week and will be for at least 1 term.

This position is specifically for a candidate that has recent experience dealing with pupils with autism and who can display behavioural difficulties that can sometimes be challenging.

To be successful in the role you will need to have-

  • Experience working with ASD children
  • Recently worked with Key Stage 1 children
  • worked as 121 teaching assistant in a UK primary school
