Special Needs Teaching Assistant - Birmingham

Are you an experienced teaching assistant that has worked with pupils who have Autism? Look now further, I have the perfect opportunity for you.

I am currently working with a wonderful school based in Birmingham that works with young people who have a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC), they are searching for a special needs teaching assistant to join their team.

This is an all age special school and they work with pupils from nursery age all the way through to year eight. Within the school they have two sensory rooms, an amazing therapy room and they have a forest school available on site.

The right candidate for us will be a someone with a minimum of one years-experience either working within a mainstream school or special school with pupils with additional needs. Makaton or PECs is desirable but not necessary.

This is a full-time role from Monday-Friday (8:30am-4:00pm). There are local public transport links and a very generous car park available on site.
