Special Needs TA - Autism - 1:1 - Worcestershire

Celsian Education are working with a wonderful middle school based in the heart of Worcestershire who are on the search for a special needs teaching assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.

They have a Nursery on site and local public transport links with a generous car park too. This school is extremely supportive and have a thorough induction programme to ensure that you are settled within the school and know exactly where help is available.

You will be working with primary aged pupils both in and out of timetabled lessons, this includes classroom assistance, group work and 1:1 support. You will be working with pupils who has ADHD, Autism and Challenging Behaviour.

Having a NVQ Level 3 is advantageous but not necessary. The right candidate for this role is someone who's pro-active, flexible and willing to adapt. You need to be able to make a good impression on both the staff and pupils right away.

You must have an Enhanced Child DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one.
