Celsian Education are working with a primary school in Oldham who are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to join their team in key stage 2 from October until Easter and possibly May half term.
It is essential that candidates have recent experience working in a UK primary school in key stage 2 and took charge of a whole class whilst the class teacher is elsewhere.
Short-listed applicants must be enthusiastic, efficient and inspiring, as well as being committed to their own professional development, whilst being an exceptional practitioner in all other aspects of the role.
To be considered for this particular role you must:
Hold Cache or NVQ Level 3 or 4 in childcare (or equivalent)
Hold a current enhanced DBS that is on the update service (or be happy to apply for a new one through Celsian).
Have the ability to build a positive rapport quickly with pupils, and have strong skills in behaviour management.
Have experience delivering lessons to whole classes during a teachers absence from the classroom.
