Behaviour Support Assistant - Leeds Celsian Education is seeking to employ a hardworking and enthusiastic Behaviour Support

Assistant to join our successful supply teaching team to work in Mainstream Primary schools in

the Leeds local authority.

This position is due to commence as soon as possible working flexibly on Day to Day

assignments but these roles often lead to long-term positions.

The role:

Working as part of an energetic and creative team, the successful Behaviour Support Assistant

will focus on delivering 1:1 support to students who have ASD (Autism Spectrum

Disorder) and SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) difficulties Working 08:30 - 16:30 Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will ideally have Team Teach Training however this is not essential.

If applicants are successful there is an opportunity for you to attend the Team Teach training

course that Celsian Education provides.

To be considered for the Behaviour Support Worker Assistant, you will:

Have experience supporting young people with ASD and SEMH. Be able to work between the hours of 8:30 until 16:30. Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of practitioners who all pull together

to inspire the students, in what can be a very demanding and challenging environment.

Have a DBS on the Update Service or, willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check that must be

registered on the Update Service.
