Teaching Assistant - Special School - Wolverhampton

Celsian Education are happy to say we are working with a lovely special school based in Wolverhampton who cater to 3-19 years old with complex and profound learning difficulties. They are looking to take on two special needs teaching assistants with experience working with PMLD after October half-term.

You will be doing a combination of classroom support and small group work with pupils who are between the age of 5-11 years old with complex needs and profound and multiple learning difficulties. You will have support of anther teaching assistant with you and support from the class teacher.

There is good local public transport links to this site and there is also generous parking available should you need it!

The right candidate will have:

  • Teaching Assistant Qualification is preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 1 years experience working with pupils with additional needs
  • Experience working with PMLD / Complex Needs
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
