The ideal candidate will have strong curriculum knowledge and will ensure that the lessons they deliver are of excellent quality using innovative and engaging approaches, ensuring that the students are having fun whilst making progress.
You must be a committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout the role.
To be successful, you will need:· To be an inspirational Design and Technology Teacher· A teaching qualification e.g. PGCE, B.Ed, GTP· To hold QTS or QTLS· Experience of teaching Product Design / Resistant Materials KS3 and KS4· Have excellent computer design skills· Good communication skills· A pro-active approach to work· Ability to engage and inspire pupils
